In August 2023, Castrol will begin introducing a range of new "small bottle" product lines in Europe. These 0.5, 1, 4, and 5-liter packages were designed with logistical efficiency and product durability in mind.
The new small bottle designs for Castrol EDGE, Castrol MAGNATEC, and Castrol GTX will also feature new labels. This is part of the Castrol brand refresh announced earlier in 2023. HOME.
The refreshed brand image will be rolled out in stages across all European Castrol locations in 2023 and 2024. Ultimately, it will appear on all product packaging, in all partner programs and properties, as well as in online and offline marketing activities and global sponsorship materials.
Along with the bottle and label changes in the small-pack segment, we are also making several changes to our automotive engine oil portfolio to simplify our brand's product architecture. By renaming variants of some of our products, we are making it easier to navigate and manage our portfolio.
The formulation of these products will remain unchanged. A summary of these changes is below:
