The smartLav+ is a discreet, portable, broadcast-grade mini microphone. Ideal for use in film, television, broadcasting, and other applications requiring high-quality audio, it easily integrates with wireless equipment. Simply attach the smartLav+, connect it to your smartphone or tablet's headset jack, and record using the RODE Rec app for iOS or other audio apps. (While compatible, it works more reliably with the iOS app.) Using a high-quality omnidirectional condenser capsule, the smartLav+ picks up sound equally from all directions around the microphone. The included foam pop shield minimizes wind noise and plosives. A durable mounting clip and integrated cable management keep the cable secure, and the Kevlar® reinforced cable will never stretch or bend under normal use. RØDE Rec transforms your iOS device into a fully functional field recorder with its wide range of equalization presets to suit various recording situations, high-quality editing features, and the ability to publish directly to SoundCloud and Dropbox from the app.
