Product details: Raw material for industry (Raw Material): Refined Abyssinian Oil (EXPELLER PRESSED & REFINED) Refined oil INCL : Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil CAS number 68956-68-3 EINECS number 273-313-5 Abyssinian Oil is obtained from Abyssinian blue crab seeds, also known as Abyssinian cabbage (Crambe hispanica). This plant occurs naturally in North Africa and is also cultivated in many countries around the Mediterranean basin. Abyssinian oil contains an exceptionally high amount of erucic acid (a long-chain fatty acid), the presence of this acid determines the beneficial effects of this oil on the skin, hair, and nails. Action. Abyssinian oil absorbs quickly, intensively moisturizing the skin and smoothing wrinkles (even in very dry skin). Therefore, it is recommended for mature and dry skin. After application, it does not leave a greasy film on the skin. It is excellent for moisturizing the skin after drying treatments (TANNING!!!). Very often used in cosmetics as an ingredient in moisturizing creams, lipsticks (leaves a pleasant feeling of moisturization on the lips) and in color cosmetics (distributes pigments wonderfully). The oil quickly penetrates the skin without clogging pores. Applied directly to hair (or as an additive to hair care cosmetics), it gives/restores natural shine to hair, leaves hair soft and flexible. Application. Recommended concentration in cosmetic formulas 5-99%. It can also be used as an additive to cosmetics (in creams up to 4%, cleansing products up to 2%, lipsticks up to 10%, color cosmetics up to 1.5%). On hair, it can be used as a base for an "oiling" treatment (on both dry and wet hair, just don't overdo it), or as an additive to conditioners (up to 2%). Chemical information.
