Application Scope:
TK15 is a general-purpose high-precision current-sensing capacity display parameter meter (hereinafter referred to as a coulometer). It can real-time monitor the voltage, current, capacity, and other usage information of battery packs, helping users accurately understand the operational status of the batteries. It is suitable for various instruments, measuring devices, portable devices, medical equipment, vacuum cleaners, balance bikes, electric vehicles, and more.
Product Features:
1. Adjustable battery pack discharge voltage and full charge voltage
2. Automatic backlight activation
3. Power-off memory capacity
4. Ultra-low power consumption
5. Automatic wake-up from sleep mode
Product parameters:
Measurement range: 0-500A
Power supply voltage: 8-120V
Accuracy: 1%
Nominal capacity: 1-9999AH
Power: 1W
Sampling Classification:
This product's sampler is categorised by current into three specifications: 50A, 100A, and 350A:
50A Sampler: Suitable for charging and discharging currents between 5A and 50A;
100A Sampler: Suitable for charging and discharging currents between 50A and 150A;
350A Sampler: Suitable for charging and discharging currents between 150-350A;
Note: The coulomb meters have the same dimensions and functions, but their internal parameters differ. They must be used with the corresponding samplers and cannot be interchanged!
Wiring Method:
Standard Model: This sampler is connected to a four-core plug cable. Two wires are already soldered to the sampler. The solder joint near the red wire connects to the negative terminal of the battery pack, while the solder joint near the black wire connects to the negative terminal for both discharge and charging. The other two wires connect the red wire to the positive terminal of the battery pack and the black wire to the negative terminal of the battery pack. After connection is complete, the plug end is connected to the coulometer display port. Power can be applied for normal use.
Upgraded Model: This sampler requires one shielded wire and one wire with a cross-sectional area of 0.3–0.75 mm². The B- end on the sampling board is connected to the negative terminal of the battery pack, and the P- end is connected to the negative terminal for both discharge and charging. Then, connect one end of the prepared wire to the positive terminal of the battery pack and the other end to any interface on the B+ terminal of the sampling board. After completing the wiring, connect one end of the shielded wire to the sampling interface and the other end to the coulometer display interface. Power on to use normally.
Installation Method:
Cut a rectangular hole and two screw holes on the device panel where the display will be installed. Place the display on the front of the device panel where it will be installed. Install the display from the front of the device panel, then secure the display to the device panel using self-tapping screws from the front.
Note:
When using a coulometer with lithium-ion batteries, it is recommended to use a battery pack with the same terminals, i.e., a lithium-ion battery pack with only positive and negative terminals. If using a 3-wire or 4-wire battery pack, the lithium-ion battery pack must be disassembled, and the coulometer's sampler must be connected in series between the battery's negative terminal (B-) and the protection board's negative terminal. This requires the purchaser to have a certain level of hands-on practical skills. Please strictly follow the wiring diagram when connecting the wires. RS+ and RS- must be connected to the negative terminal circuit of the battery; under no circumstances should they be connected to the positive terminal circuit! The shielding wire must not be extended a second time! If extension is necessary under special circumstances, the extended wires must be of the same material and gauge! ! !
