Like opening a window onto wet woodland, this soy wax scented candle brings together green moss tones, soft herbs and a lift of citrus. The wooden wick adds a low, fireside crackle, so the room feels gently warmed as the fragrance unfolds.
Rain-washed greens and quiet citrus
The scent begins fresh and airy, with light citrus cutting through the softer green notes.
Moss gives it a damp, woodland feel, more forest path than heavy perfume.
Herbal notes keep the fragrance clean and grounded, suited to slow evenings and quiet corners.
The wooden wick brings a gentle crackling sound, adding atmosphere before the scent has filled the room.
It suits a bedside table, reading nook or bathroom shelf when you want a cleaner, greener kind of fragrance.
Soy wax with a wooden wick
The candle is made with soy wax and a woodwick, poured into a glass jar with cork, paper, wood and cornstarch elements. Soy wax is a plant-based candle wax, valued for its softer, even melt, while the wooden wick gives this green candle its small hearth-like sound.
Lighting and burn care
Place the candle on a heat-proof holder or plate before lighting. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use, and let the surface melt evenly across when you burn it.
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from anything flammable. Once the wax is finished, the glass jar can be cleaned and kept for small household storage.
The Greenman mood
The Green Man is a leafy face found in European church carvings, garden ornament and folk imagery, often read as a symbol of returning growth and the living woodland. This candle takes that mood in a modern, home-centred direction: green, damp, herbal and quietly atmospheric. Rather than a sweet floral room scent, Moss & Mist feels closer to earth after rain, softened by citrus and the gentle sound of woodwick flame.
