The prototype is the 15th series car, which was stationed in Takasaki, Nagaoka, and Higashi-Niigata and is equipped with cold-weather gear such as snowplows, whistle covers, and defrosters.
The roof is black (cars entering the Omiya factory), the pantograph is a lightweight PS15, and the lightning arrester is an LA15.
The final model has H-rubber support windows on the three centers of the front and sides, as well as the center monitor, all of which were used when new.

Power packs with constant lighting functions and thyristor (pulse-controlled) power packs are not compatible with this product. Also, sound control using the SL-1's sound control function is not possible.
Since this system is controlled by a completely different mechanism from vehicles controlled by normal voltage alone, it cannot be coordinated with powered vehicles without the Quantum System.
