Berryfire "1/700 American Light Cruiser USS Cleveland CL-55 Standard Edition" plastic model kit.
The Cleveland was a U.S. Navy light cruiser and the lead ship of the Cleveland-class light cruisers.
Named after the city of Cleveland, Ohio, she was the second ship to bear that name.
The Cleveland was laid down at the New York Shipbuilding Corporation in 1940 and participated in the Battle of Rennell Island, the Battle of Villa Stanmore, and the Battle of Bougainville in 1943.
In 1944, she participated in the Mariana Islands invasion, and after the war, she supported the transport of Allied prisoners of war from Japan before being decommissioned in 1947.
For her service in World War II, the Cleveland received the Navy Unit Commendation and 13 battle stars.
This kit is a full-hull model, but you can also complete it as a floating model by modifying the hull and using the included display bottom parts.
