Ultralight Kongouuchi BCF Polypropylene Rope, 7mm (50m, Lime Yellow)

This ultra-lightweight rope is made from BCF (bulked continuous filament) polypropylene, a material originally developed for carpet applications. It's incredibly light and floats on water.

BCF (bulked continuous filament) fiber is a long fiber with excellent abrasion resistance and a fuzz-resistant finish, resulting in less shedding than spun yarn.

Furthermore, because it was developed for carpet applications, it lacks the sleek, glossy feel of long fibers, resulting in a unique texture that's perfect for ropework.

While polypropylene is a lightweight fiber, this rope is particularly lightweight and boasts the excellent chemical resistance characteristic of PP.
