[Before Installation]
*The installation method varies depending on the surface material.
Wood: Direct installation is possible using the included screws.
Plasterboard: Driving screws into the plasterboard surface may feel secure at first, but they will gradually loosen and fall off. There are two ways to ensure a secure installation.
1. Locate the base and drive the screws. There are several ways to locate the base:
- Knock on the wall (a light sound will be heard if there is no base)
- Poke with a needle (such as a commercially available plasterboard base finder)
- Use a sensor (such as a commercially available base sensor)
2. Use an anchor (sold separately) (SANEI multi-purpose anchor, part number PR471)
Drill a hole, insert the anchor, and drive the screw. Driving the screw will open the anchor and firmly embed it into the wall.
Tile/Concrete: As with plasterboard, reinforcement using anchors is required.
