■American death metal veterans Cannibal Corpse are reissuing their early work to celebrate the release of their latest album, "Violence Unimagined."
■Formed in 1988. Despite numerous lineup changes, this legendary band has never stopped performing, consistently maintaining their unique style and churning out riffs. They welcome their longtime friend Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal/formerly of Morbid Angel), who was involved in producing their previous albums and has been a support/live guitarist since 2018, into the lineup as a full member, and will release their latest studio album in April 2021.
■This is their eighth album, released in 2002. Three years after their last album, Cannibal Corpse's hiring of renowned producer Neil Kernon was a major surprise. Brutalism and rich production coexist, propelling the band to a new level as a metal band.
