This collection of works was completed just before Chuya's death. The manuscript was entrusted to his friend, Kobayashi Hideo, and published in 1938 (Showa 13), the year after Chuya's death. The binding was designed by art critic and book designer Aoyama Jiro.

As this book was stored at home for a long time, it has aged and deteriorated due to sun damage. There are no tears or other major damage to the book itself, but there is a tear in the glassine paper cover. (See images.) It comes with a bookcase, so the interior is in good condition with no creases.
