It is the Taisho era. It is springtime, and a year has almost passed since the protagonist enrolled at Seiryo Academy. The protagonist hears a rumor: somewhere on Seiryo Academy grounds, there is a cherry tree that blooms only once every hundred years—the Hundred-Year Cherry Tree. It is said that if you make a wish beneath it when it blooms, the cherry tree's spirit will grant it. The protagonist, a word-magic user, has a wish: to deliver the last words of the now-deceased Nishijima on June 1st. To fulfill a wish that cannot be granted by word magic alone, she sets out to find the Hundred-Year Cherry Tree. She and her partner, who she worked with on a case, are lovers. Can she find the Hundred-Year Cherry Tree with her lover and friends? And beyond the cherry blossom season... what will the protagonist gain? Now, the once-in-a-century cherry blossom season begins...
