The CO2 drop checker is an important tool for monitoring the CO2 content in an aquarium.
A CO2 leak detector is a container designed to hold an indicator solution and an air space.
Long-term monitor CO2 displays colors: insufficient CO2 in blue, sufficient CO2 in green, and excess CO2 in yellow.
Instruction:
1. Turn the drop checker upside down.
2. Put 5 drops of test solution into the drop checker.
3. Refill the aquarium water into the water line.
When the water drop checker is immersed in the aquarium, carbon dioxide will be degassed from the aquarium water, enter the air space of the water drop checker, and eventually be absorbed into the display solution. Carbon dioxide gas will find a balance between the display solution and the aquarium water. When equilibrium is reached, the color of the solution displayed inside the droplet checker will change according to the CO2 concentration in the aquarium water.
