The “POD Go” released in 2020 is an all-in-one amplifier/effects processor that can obtain sound with the same amplifiers, cabinets, and effects as the flagship model “Helix” while being compact. In the “POD Go Wireless,” which is now on sale, the “POD Go” is equipped with a new wireless function. Freed from anxiety such as cable tangles and jack noise, it is possible to perform performances that move around the stage endlessly, and meets the expectations of guitarists and bassists who want to easily complete high functionality and wireless with one unit.
■Wireless function that enables you to perform wherever inspiration takes you on stage
A wireless receiver is built into the main unit, and by using the included Relay G10TII transmitter, the guitarist and bassist can move around the stage inexhaustively without being bound by cables. When the transmitter is set to the receiver, the optimal signal is automatically detected instantaneously, and a simple and secure plug-and-play mechanism is adopted to lock the channel, and the high-quality, pure 24-bit sound quality covers a transmission range of about 40 meters without suffering from dropouts or interference. Also, the transmitter can run for up to 7 hours on a single charge.
■User interface that combines high operability and visibility
The main unit is equipped with 8 foot switches, and the large 4.3 inch (11 cm) color LCD display and color LED foot switch ring make it an interface where you can see at a glance what type of effect is assigned to each foot switch. Also, if you use the convenient “snapshot” function, you can save up to 4 types of settings in one preset, so you can turn on/off multiple effects and switch parameter settings at once without interrupting the sound with a single foot switch.
