The unique design creates an oval ring that offers the benefits of 112 degrees of top dead center after 10% (ovality) timing. It reduces spin in the "power zone" and allows for natural pedaling in the "recovery zone." The wide tooth side provides maximum contact on the drive side, spreading the load and extending chainring life. The narrow side allows for mud and debris clearance and reduces friction.
