The alder body (through color has a quilted maple veneer laminated on top) is joined to a hard rock maple neck using a set method. The fingerboard is rosewood, and dot position marks are placed on the 6th string side. The pickups are two Grassroots original humbuckers. The bridge is a fixed type, and the strings are strung from the back of the body. It has a simple configuration of master volume, master tone, and pickup selector. Pulling up the master volume knob puts the humbucker into coil split mode.
