This plastic kit recreates the Keiyo Line's 201 series commuter train, which served a wide range of routes, from the Tokyo Bay Area to the Chiba countryside.
1/80 scale precision and meticulous reproduction of the underfloor equipment, bogie structure, driver's seat, and interior handrails. The bogies, which even feature disc brakes, are impressive even on their own.
The molded-in colors are pre-coded, so simply assemble to enjoy the train's classic appearance.
Even the ATS on-board units, skirts, and end-of-car piping have been recreated.
The lead car set includes KuHa 201 and KuHa 200. Combine with the middle car set to create a minimum of four cars or the impressive 10 cars that served under the nickname "Marine Dream."
*To mount the train on a track, use the separately sold "201 Series Running Kit A (for KuHa 201 and KuHa 200)."
