In 1988, Izubuchi Yutaka and Kaiyodo teamed up to launch "Rune Masker," a completely original work developed in both three-dimensional and illustrated forms.
Using modern perspectives and technology, the machine god Rune Masker, designed by Izubuchi Yutaka and appearing in the work, has been newly released as a plastic model kit.
The prototype was created by Tani Akira, Kaiyodo's leading expert in mecha sculpting. Izubuchi Yutaka's unique design, which combines mechanical yet biological characteristics of a half-man, half-horse creature, has been sculpted in a large size that is full of volume.
The exterior, composed of smooth curves, and organic parts such as the flowing mane and tail have been cleverly divided into fixed parts, making it easy to assemble.
The kit also comes with a base and a large spear that serves as its weapon.
Once completed, you'll be able to experience the divine appearance of the machine god Rune Masker standing on a rocky outcrop.
