European Streets Series: STREET OF EUROPE
The concept of this series is "Travel with Models!"
The idea for this series was to "enjoy the feeling of traveling while building models."
By expressing the unique architectural characteristics of each country and region and creating a series of these models, we aim to convey a message of connecting the world as one.
While Western-style architecture represents a new venture for Woody Joe, we have focused on creating products that utilize the unique wood texture of our products. These compact yet authentic kits are borderless and can be enjoyed by anyone, from beginners to advanced builders, regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
We hope that, just like traveling around the world, you will discover and encounter new things through model building.
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, is often referred to as the Paris of Northern Europe.
Nyhavn, in particular, is known for its Nyhavn, the oldest artificial harbor in Northern Europe, completed in the 17th century, and its colorful buildings lining the canals.
The buildings were once used as residences and warehouses for sailors and merchants, and are said to have been color-coded so that fishermen returning from fishing could identify their homes from afar.
The large windows, which maximize natural light, are framed in black and white, creating a contrast with the colorful walls.
World-famous fairy tale author Hans Christian Andersen wrote many of his works, including "The Little Match Girl," in this city.
This kit depicts the actual scenery of Copenhagen in 1/220 scale.
The window frames are reproduced using etching.
It can be displayed in limited space, so display it on a desk or shelf and enjoy the European scenery at your fingertips.
You can also create a night-time cityscape by installing LED strip lights (optional).
