As the Symphonic name suggests, this specification is popular with orchestras and soloists. Cup: 1C (diameter 17.00mm / depth: M / rim: medium). This large diameter, medium-sized cup makes it suitable for all-around use. Throat: No. 26 (3.73mm). Allows more air to be blown straighter than the standard 27 (3.66mm). Backbore: No. 24 "Symphonic" - produces a dark, powerful sound. Standard A-cup backbore. This is the most popular size for special mouthpieces.
