Shintaro Sakamoto's third album, "Love If Possible," is now complete. Two years after his previous album, "Let's Dance Nama," the album features 10 tracks based on the elusive theme of "Love Seen Through a Microscope," along with artwork that clearly expresses the theme. Continuing from the previous album, participating members include Yuta Suganuma (playing with Yoshie Nakano, Yossy Little Noise Weaver, and Mocky, among many other bands) on drums and AYA (OOIOO) on bass. Recording began last summer after extensive rehearsals as a trio. Other guest performers include Toru Nishiuchi (saxophone & flute) and Fuko Nakamura (chorus), who have become indispensable in Sakamoto's work. Also appearing for the first time are Eiko Ishibashi (marimba) and Shiori Sasaki & Rika Numata (chorus). Engineering and mastering were provided by Soichiro Nakamura.
