Continental Gator Hardshell 700 X 23 Road Tire

The whole world has shown us that the new type of tires is in demand. Our Gatorskin race tire filled a gap for hardcore racers, but they wanted more, MORE carcass, MORE belt, MORE protection. Using Gatorskin as a base, we added a third layer of polyamide to the sidewall to create a unique 3-layer carcass for the Gator Hardshell. We've also added a wider Poly-X puncture-resistant breaker under the tread that extends down into the shoulder area for greater coverage.. Add that to the Duraskin anti-burst mesh on the outside of the carcass and you have a more durable tire for city commuting.
