I will add, the 38 was perfect for the steering wheel (I ordered 38 cm). Cladding took about 1 hour. I used only one thread, and there is still more left. He started to sew from the knitting needle, then tied the two ends and hid them under the knitting needle. I am satisfied with the result, it turned out great.
