I bought 2 pencil cases of different colors right away, just in case one gets lost - my son is a scatterbrain, often loses things. Regarding the pencil case itself: convenient 2 compartments, zippers don't get stuck, the color is just right so that it won't show if it gets dirty. But the fabric itself is such that it doesn't collect dirt.
