-Book Introduction

Since July 2016, the Immigration and Immigration Policy Headquarters of the Ministry of Justice has been operating the 'Understanding Korean Society' textbook, which has been composed of a single course, subdivided into basic and advanced sections to meet the various needs of social integration consumers. Through this, changes have been reflected and supplementary textbooks such as research activities and teacher's guides were also developed so that immigrants could systematically improve their understanding of Korean society. In addition, in order to reflect the diverse needs of immigrants in the future, a new textbook, ‘Basic Understanding of Korean Society’, which can be learned at the intermediate level of Korean language, has been published to provide customized social integration education for early settlement in Korean society from the beginning of life in Korea.
