Since many overseas-made jacks are used for guitars and amplifiers, we have created and used original OPREX plugs that enable stable connections to these jacks. The plug cap has been made compact and lightweight while still maintaining the length (35mm, 12Φ) that allows for easy insertion and removal of the jack. This avoids contact between the tremolo arm and the cable plug that occurs when inserting it into a boat-shaped jack such as a Strat. We have poured a lot of technology into the Ex-pro high-end cable, but with OPREX, which has an unprecedented concept of reducing costs, we started by adopting the "non-negotiable!" point. In order to suppress these, we have created an original cap made from machined brass. In the regular series, we succeeded in making the cap small and lightweight while maintaining a length that allows for easy insertion and removal when connecting to an amplifier or guitar, and of course, the cap can suppress resonance. For the Patch series cap, we were particular about making it as small and lightweight as possible, and we also gave top priority to strength and prevention of resonance. Therefore, the patch series plug caps are 10mm shorter than the regular series and made thinner at 12Φ, making it easier to handle and avoid problems such as noise caused by plugs touching each other or the chassis when wiring inside effector boards or racks.
