This model is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit of the Panzer III 15cm sIG33 self-propelled howitzer, said to be the only one built on site.
Just like the real thing, it's constructed by combining Panzer III and 15cm sIG33 parts.
Of course, numerous other specialized parts are included to accurately recreate the details of this hastily assembled self-propelled howitzer.
This kit features pre-assembled Magic Track tracks for a realistic finish, and an aluminum barrel.
The rifling is also engraved, adding texture and realism to the weapon.
The gun is also reproduced in full detail, meticulously modeling every inch of the fighting compartment.
Enjoy the mechanical finish unique to an open-top vehicle.
The shapes of the armored gun shield at the front of the fighting compartment, the side armor plates, and the storage box attached to them are all accurately reproduced.
A luggage rack is also included as an etched part at the rear of the engine deck.
In historical photographs, the rack is filled with jerry cans and bags, so it's fun to try arranging it in various ways.
The underside of the Panzer III tank is also uniquely recreated by Dragon.
