Not tried yet hope they are really made of stainless steel. Follow up. The product is nice and hasn.t tarnished. The back fastener is a tiny ball which is screw on. In a way it is safe and doesn.t hurt when you sleep but it is really tedious to centre the hole to the pin. You have to have really steady hands and agile fingers and if you drop it accidentally (which is easy being tiny and round) you won.t find it easily, if not impossible if it gets under low furniture. So this is a minus every time you remove them for cleaning etc!!!
